En Contra Del Imperialismo Estadounidense Hoy y Para Siempre
Following an American attack on Caracas, Maduro, the President of Venezuela was captured by American forces.
Last night, on the 3rd of January, the Trump administration took yet another massive step into fascism and the oppression of not only the citizens of the United States but also the citizens of Venezuela, and other Latin American countries.
Several missile strikes hit parts of Caracas in the middle of the night, while helicopters flew into Caracas in search of the president. Maduro was captured in less than 30 minutes and brought to USS Iwo Jima, a US warship. Some of you might not know of the recent Navy blockade and sanctions - (Source: https://www.reuters.com/business/energy/us-targets-crude-oil-tankers-firms-new-venezuela-related-sanctions-treasury-2025-12-31/ )
against the nation of Venezuela, but the kidnapping of Maduro is most assuredly a reaction to the resistance from Venezuelan citizens and their leaders.
From Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Brasil, and the like - the systematic dismemberment of culture and lives has long since been brandished as charity, liberation for the region.
What does this mean for YOU as a citizen of the US?
This administration has become increasingly more dangerous as the hours and days drag on, first violating our Constitution and our rights as citizens and now defying the sovereignty of other nations. As a sickening development in the unfortunate circumstances of our country, if we are silent in these moments we are all complicit.
The pillage of other countries will result in more escalations of violent lunges for power, not stopping at Venezuela or violating our rights and disrupting families, but going for Venezuela's allies, our other "opponents" and for YOU. If they haven't already came for you, yet - they will. Fascism is at our doorstep, and kicking our doors in.
It is coming.
Why would Trump desire regime change in Venezuela?
María Corina Machado, former presidential candidate of Venezuela has defected and fallen victim to imperialist machine of the US, pleading for invasion of the country and "liberation" for its people in the form of forceful military action; coincidentally Venezuela has a wealth of desirable natural resources, that of course is something that makes Trump's little buddy grow a bit in his pants. (Small update: Machado was rejected from assuming new leadership in Venezuela)
Trump has then issued an official statement intending on ruling over Venezuela with Marco Rubio and other US officials, clearly meaning to rape the country for its oil and natural resources before leaving it to bleed out like the many countries in the Middle East.
It's possible that the capture of Maduro can trigger a large-scale war, with the unification of LATAM and the allies of Venezuela, obviously this is a bad thing.
US imperialism in Latin America has a storied and turbulent history, forcing US agenda down the throats of countries seen as impoverished, small countries that benefit from our choking grasp.
Being correspondents for ANTI, we might not agree with Maduro's leadership; but the kidnapping and attacks on Venezuelan soil is unacceptable.
Stand up and fight against the unnecessary "Great American Intervention!" We must organize in the streets in the face of imperialism and continued oppression, we've added some materials to push posters and protests in the streets below.
